About Kathleen Hawkins

Kathleen Hawkins is an accomplished business consultant, public speaker, and nine times published author. She has built 2 million dollar companies in her lifetime and currently is the President and CEO of the Hendersonville Area Chamber - the largest Chamber in Sumner County. She is often referred as a Business Advocate, Community Builder, and Change Leader.

She is a recent graduate of Leadership Middle Tennessee, a committee member of the Hendersonville Horizons Steering Committee and a past Board member of the Sumner County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Her essays have been published in numerous lifestyle, business and photography journals.  In addition, she is a three-time first place winner of AN-NE Award for Marketing Excellence and a winner of the Girl Scouts Women of Distinction award.

Hawkins is a foster parent and adoptive mother of three. She and her husband Jeff were awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award by the Coalition for Children. She served as a committee member of The Governor's Faith Based Initiative Work Group for Child Advocacy and was accepted as a member of the Compassion Florida Roundtable for the Governor's Volunteer Florida Foundation.
